Brooke Dunyon is teaching preschool in her home this year!

About Brooke: Getting certified and licensed this month to teach at home! Early Childhood Education Graduate from BYU. Former teacher at Hunter High School and Kindercare.

Enrollment for Mrs. Brooke’s Little Joy Preschool is open! SMALL CLASS SIZE: 5 students max! Our goal is to provide an exceptional learning experience for children while making it affordable for your family.

Students must be potty trained! Two sessions will be offered:

Pre-Kindergarten $85/mo
Mondays & Wednesdays 9:30-12:00
4-5 year old students (WILL be attending Kindergarten 2012-2013)

Preschool $65/mo
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:30-12:00
3-4 year old students

We have an exciting curriculum this year! Some of the highlights include:
Alphabet/Numbers/Shapes/Colors; Handwriting (Write First Name); Dr. Seuss Week!; Letter Sounds; Sight Words;
Explore multiple painting styles (marble, finger, blowing through a straw, etc); Counting; Interactive Play; Music;
Days of the Week/Month; Show-n-Share!; Opposites; Arts & Crafts; Character Building Skills; and much much more!

I will be compiling a Preschool Portfolio for each child that they will receive at Graduation!

PLAYGROUP! Tuesday July 19

Bring your swimsuit and sunscreen (or tanning oil!) for some fun in the sun and water over in the south west corner of Haymaker. We will have a little kid pool and a slip and slide out. Have your kids bring their squirt guns or whatever else they want to play with! Bring a snack to share!

Playgroup- Friday July 1st!

Playgroup TOMORROW, Friday July 1st at 11:00 at the Highland Splash Pad. It is at 5400 W. Civic Center Drive. If you haven't been there, it is way fun... hopefully the weather cooperates! Bring a snack to share!

PLAYDATE! Wed June 22nd

So this Wednesday we are going to try to all get together at Evergreen Park! It is the park off 700 E and Fleming Drive (maybe 150 N.?) Bring your kids and tell your neighbors and friends in your phone... spread the word! We will meet at 10 am. Bring a snack to share if you want! See you there.

Playgroups!!!

Hey ladies... does anyone still read this? I've had several requests to get playgroups up and running again. I think we definitely should. I actually wanted to add everyone and anyone that wanted to to be and administrator of this blog so anyone could just post up any day/time/place they wanted to do a playgroup rather than relay it all through me because I'm super unreliable lately! So I'm going to work on that... in the meantime, leave a comment on here if you saw this! Maybe even leave your e-mail.
